Corporate Sponsorship

We reach over 100,000 people via news channels, social media campaigns and events. By sponsoring The Long Walk your brand will be associated with women’s health and family wellbeing, healthy active lifestyles, rural tourism, team building, luxury hospitality, Gran Canaria Culture and history, and more. And most importantly all public donations raised through corporate sponsorship go directly to local charities.

The Long Walk Route

This year we plan to walk out of the west side of Las Palmas, Starting at the Alfredo Kraus, and inland from the rugged North Coast of Gran Canaria.  We will climbing the old pilgrims paths toward the historic market town of Teror.  From there we head in to the heart of the Cumbres to the famous Finca La Isa, which over looks the ancient Caldera de Tejeda.

Day two will be a stroll among the clouds climbing up the final 500m r so to the highest point on Gran Canaria, Pico de Las Nieves for our traditional toast to the Goddesses of these legendary summits; before descending through hillside pine forests and plenty of opportunities to take in the magnificent wild scenery as we head to the southern heartlands and the sacred spaces of the Canario peoples, and the antiquity of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.

The third day will wander through the backs of Maspalomas, through the reservoirs of Ayagaures and down to the sea and the world famous beacon which stands over looking the Calms of Maspalomas, for a photo of everyone who has made it there and supported our journey.

The Big Picture

Our final act of the event, down on the pier in front of the Faro de Maspalomas, one last image of solidarity, joining everyone together in a photograph of defiance against adversity,

Whether you’ve walked the whole way, or part of it, or you are there to support someone who has; whether you want to remember someone who has suffered, or someone who has succeeded in their own personal challenge, we want to see you there, and proud to be part of this epic event we call The Long Walk.

See you on the trail. x
